How much is an annual pass?

And do you get discount codes and other benefits? I have to figure they are non-transferable, but are they only available for Florida residents?

We are from New England and purchused a AP for about $ 1,100.00 +/-. I'll check with DW later. I'm almost positive. Two adults & two children.

Re: How much is an annual pass?

Wow... that would make it break even at just over a week... and if you also get discounts, that could be a HUGE savings! Do the passes work at the water parks, and do they work at DL?

Re: How much is an annual pass?

I just saw the whole scoop on Disney.com... wow.My only concern now is that I might be tempted to go too often (we can't afford to go that much!) just because we have the APs! In fact, I am tempted right now to go... I can only imagine how much harder it would be to resist! I guess we could always sleep in the car in the TTC parking lot! That wouls save money! And we could just hop into the wave pool at TL every morning since we wouldn't have a shower or bathtub!

Re: How much is an annual pass?

I saved some big money!!!! Like Skwak said, about $ 100.00 per person. We are also planning a visit in December, if that is the case the saving will be astronomical.

Icon6 Re: How much is an annual pass?

Hi,

As you will see from my countdown clocks below, I am going two times this year and am purchasing an AP for the first time.

For my first trip Feb 26-March 7 trip I was able to get an AP rate of $115.96 w/tax at Caribbean Beach Resort-Standard room, versus $188.44 w/tax other wise. That saved me $651.96 which pays for my AP and 2 days of food at WDW easily.

Without this rate, I would never had been able to stay 9 nights at WDW unless it was off site.

I would say get one if your going more than once, because it doesn't take long to save enough to cover the price of the pass. Plus it's one less thing you have to worry about getting the next time you go (tickets).

Re: How much is an annual pass?

It really is a great deal, and, yes, it does tempt you to go more times than you can afford. When I think of how much money would be in my savings account if I didn't have an AP to tempt me to make return trips to WDW, I'm shocked!

But the savings are phenomenal -- after our May trip, we'll have spent 18 nights (21 days) at Walt Disney World, and saved about $2,500 on accomodations, park tickets, and food/leisure throughout the year. Amazing, isn't it?
