Actually it's if your youngest is 3 or under...not 2... (2 is for the airlines to fly free or half price)... Of course a 3 year old may not be keen on sleepign in a Pack-In-Play porta-crib...but sometimes the youngest has to take one for the team. :) Under 3's are also free in the parks...and are "Mickey's Guests" at buffet-style meals... At non-buffet character meals they may provide a free meal such as pasta... Our youngest is still under 3...

I do this, but I actually have an ADR at the resort we go to. I always tell the security guard my plan, and he always lets me in. However, I do NOT do it at peak times :c)

We've used this before, but I think they've changed their policies on ADR's. I believe now they give you like a 3 hr time limit, so you may want to be careful about parking at resorts.

Disneyshopping.com has Disney Logo shirts in both adult & kid sizes on clearance for $3.99 each. There's also a code for 20% off your order: pirates20. The shirts come in white, navy, lime, orange, & turquoise. I just ordered one for each of us for under $25 after shipping!

That's why I valet park at the deluxe resorts, because then you don't have to worry about the 3 hour limit.(Free with DDE).

We stayed at Corondao Springs last year and had the dining plan... We ate at the Pepper Market for counter service a lot--which is many steps above your usual counter service eatery... you can get some seriously good food here. But there was one drawback...

At the Pepper Market...your party is seated by a host...and s/he takes your drink orders... Then you take a "ticket" and go up to the food stations and have your ticket stamped for the foods you take... The beverage is stamped by the host/server... Wel... we were informed the first day that we could only get WHITE MILK cartons for our kids...that CHOCOLATE MILK was NOT included on the dining plan... Well...are kids aren't all that fond of plain old milk...so we paid the extra for the chocolate milk out of pocket... but on our third visit to the Pepper Market I wisened up... there is a beverage station that you can visit self service and get what you want...and they have choc. milk cartons right there next to the plain milk cartons...and they are the same exact price... no difference...and when they stamp your ticket... it just says "milk." So the next time the server came around I told her we didn't want a drink for the kids... and I went over and got them myselves and had the CM at the beverage station stamp my ticket... It seemed ridiculous that I could pay the same for choc. milk or plain milk--but could not get choc. milk on the meal plan...so we just found a loop hole that felt completely righteous to us... I didn't feel like we pulled one over on Disney--I wouldn't do THAT...but I didn't feel right that we were paying twice for that milk... I don't want Disney pulling one over on me either!
This seems very strange. The DDP brochure says you get a non-alcoholic beverage for each member of the party and it doesn't set any limits on which one! For Pete's sake, if you're in a table-service you would get unlimited refills on any non-alcoholic beverage! I think this CS is off-base.

Re: Really Cheapskate Tip

I have to admit. Last trip we had an ADR at LeCellier and wanted to park in back of Epcot (Boardwalk) so we didn't have to walk all the way from the front parking lot. So I just made a "faux" ADR at Spoodles and we parked at Boardwalk and walked into Epcot. (I feel so ashamed!)

Re: Really Cheapskate Tip

No reason that you should feel ashamed. Next time say you are meeting friends at Big River Grille, which takes no ADR's.

I don't consider it cheating Disney to do so as long as they have the soda fountain outside the area where you pay for food.
I bring my refillable mug from year to year but I heard that they refurbished the roaring fork at WL so I am not sure if that mean a new mug or not.

Re: Really Cheapskate Tip

You can park at the Boardwalk, to visit the boardwalk. I tell them every time, I'm here to enjoy the Boardwalk, and they point me to a big parking lot.

As far as the ADR thing - I valet. They don't give me a time limit. I am not trying to get something for free, I just don't want to park in the TTC. :c)
