THAT'S why I can never get in at Spoodles - it's full of "faux" ADR'S!!!!!

I don't know what the Roaring Fork looks like, but if they have put the soda fountain area outside the area where you pay for your food, then Disney is basically acknowledging that people bring mugs from previous resort stays and is okay with it in spite of the signs that say that a mug is good until the end of the stay when it was purchased. I'm not going to say what I do because I don't want the mug police on my case.

And of course if they overlooked the body and facial hair, and went by maturity alone, you'd be all set!

I guess if you're "furry" enough you could try telling them you are a service animal.

I'm just explaining why I pinch pennies. Once we do get there, I don't think we'll have a ton of extra money to spend, either, so it'll have to be cheap while we're there, too. I've been there once, when I was in high school with my dance school. My parents have never been able to take us, and I have a strong feeling if I don't seriously pinch our pennies for a year (more like 2), we're going to be the same as my parents.

But, when I do win the lotto for lots of money (grin- I have to actually PLAY first!), then I'm darn well taking my family to WDW once a year, and DL once a year. ;)
God bless you, you're the reason I started this thread! To show that if you're really carefull and you plan well, almost anyone can make a trip every now and then to the World and show your kids a little magic!

And if you do win the lottery, hey it's the Grand Floridian and all the works!

It depends when you bought the mug. We got ours at some resorts years ago when they had signs that said you can bring them back on every trip. We do that with mugs from POF, CBR, WL, CONT and we've never had any problems with reusing them.

Re: Really Cheapskate Tip

I have a mug from the All-Stars that I bought in 2000 when the signs were already up saying the mug was good only for the visit in which it was purchased. I am not going to say how many times,if any,I have brought it back because I don't want to be busted by the mug police!! I will say that as recently as May 2006,when I stayed at Pop Century,I saw people with mugs from other resorts using them at the soda fountain area and CM's right next to them and the CM's not doing a thing to stop them. That to me tells me that Disney knows that people re-use mugs and it's okay with them.

Darn right! We'd be decked out in style once we (play) win the lotto. :)

2005 cost about $3500 because I got a great deal on our rooms for being a returning guest 7 nights/6 days
How do you get these? Do you have contact a WDW reservation agent or can you just go through the WDW site (I know they ask if you've been before or how long it's been)

I am hoping to go back early next year with my family, love these tips!!

Sometimes, when you're staying in a Disney resort, they offer you a discount rate if you book your next trip right there (they will slip a card under your door with the advertisement). I'm guessing that's what the other poster is referring to.
