The sandwich maker is a great idea!! DS (and DH and myself, for that matter) loves grilled cheese and that would be so easy in the room!! Thanks!! This thread is great!!

Re: Really Cheapskate Tip

I have having to worry about money on vacation. So I make sure I plan to have enough to do what I want to do. Then I bring a few things more for convenience. For instance my husband can drink a gallon of water at a time and he won't drink anything that's not at least bottled. So I make sure to stuff as much water in my suit case as possible. This way I'm not looking for water in the gift shop before it closes. My 3 year old never seems to be hungry during the day but late at night after everything seems to be closed he wants something. So I bring bags of chips and peanut butter and bread. My husband says I'm cheap when really I'm just to lazy to get dressed and hunt down food.

Excuse me. EXCUUUUSE me? Heineken? Here's a REAL tip: BUY BUDWEISER, BUSCH, BUD LIGHT OR SOME OTHER A-B PRODUCT... at the grocery store and keep in a cooler (or the fridge) in your room. A-B beers actually have a decent taste (*compared to the green bottle swill), they're less expensive .. and you're helping my town's local economy!
I mean, if you're talking cheapskate, here is an even better one: drink water out of the tap. It tastes better than Hiney-kin and it's free....

Re: Really Cheapskate Tip

Okay, here's another one. You know those really silly hats that your kids bug you to buy that look like goofy or donald ducks behind, etc. You know that when you get home they would never wear them anywhere else and they are expensive. Instead of buying them, take a picture of your kids trying on all the silly hats to add to your photo album.

That is a great idea. What's more fun than a fashion show at disney and pics to remember it by. I am hoping to find some princess costumes on clearance on-line to avoid spending a small fortune at the parks on dresses and acessories.

Sometimes bread and peanut butter tastes really good, after a few days of park food.

I give up, you've got me beat! Maybe I was just trying to impress the rich folks around me with my imported brew.

I've always been an A-B fan (Mich, Bud, Bud Lite). However, now at my advanced age and being on low-carb, it's just an Ultra now and then.

We always do that at that crazy hat and wig store just inside USF. I can't remember the name, but we have some pretty silly pictures. (Of course my wife mailed one of me to my office coworkers.)

I had heard that the water at WDW wasn't very tasty. We have softened water where we live and I don't like the taste of it. Is the sodium taste at WDW from water softening?

That part of FL has sulfur in the water. The smell and taste is very strong.

Do you know if the Crystal Light you add to bottled water masks the taste? If I can't handle a little water softner, I think I would really have trouble with sulfur!
