info regarding prices

Hi,

it is a long time since I have been to WDW (10 years) and I am wondering about entrance prices, hopper, hotel? At that time we had a 5 days hopper and I didn't find it that expensive.

What is more interresting?

My boyfriend would like to go to WDW but prices that he has received were, for me, very high without including flights. (1350.55 $ for 5 days, knowing that you should add something like 1350 to 1950 $ for the flights).

One more question when is it better to go? If I remember, in Octobre, you could have hurricanes, could you let me know when that "hurricane season" begins and ends?

Thanks a lot in advance.

greetings from Belgium

Re: info regarding prices

Hi and welcome to DC. Did the price your boyfriend get include hotel and tickets or just tickets? I am staying 6 mights at Port Orleans at the end of October and am paying a little over $900 just for the room. The Magic your way pass I bought in Janurary was $219 for just three days with park hopping. These prices should give you a better idea of what to expect to pay. If you go to allears.net, it breaks down all the prices for the tickets.
Here is a link:
http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/ticketchart.htm

Hope this helps.

Re: info regarding prices

Welcome to DC!!! This is the perfect place for WDW info!

Hurricane season starts June or July I think and goes thru October! Last year August/September were awful! But when we have been there in September there are no crowds!! Hard to decide but I hear October is great!
Good Luck on your decisions!

Re: info regarding prices

Have you checked via the UK disney site? Staying October in a value resort for 5 nights comes to Ģ615 (about $1170) with 5 day premium tickets for 2.

Re: info regarding prices

If you are pondering what airline to take, I'd say Delta. My dad said it is cheapest w\ best service.

Re: info regarding prices

thanks a lot for your replies.

well, regarding the prices mentionned above, it was hotel and entrance tickets for one person. Now, for flights, I am thinking of going to Holland to have first of all a direct flight and cheaper ones, the only thing is going from Paris to Amsterdam!

I went there in August and we came back just 2 days before a hurricane arrived! I have friends living in Guadeloupe and I remember that even in October they have hurricanes. Is April - May a good time to go in WDW?

Thanks a lot for the websites, I will have a look at them!

cheers

Re: info regarding prices

We went in April of last year during the Flower and Garden Festival. Weather was great and the lines very short.

Welcome to DC!

May is a great month to go. Not too crowded and if you go before our Labor Day holiday. We have also been to WDW in October and is a great time to go also. Still warm.
