Meal Vouchers

I have heard that the meal vouchers on hotwire come and go. I was told by one of the reps yesterday that they get them periodically and sell out quickly...is anyone still a member and could possibly check this out?? Oh, and is dealpass and hotwire the same? I am wondering, because when I called hotwire to register they sent me to the dealpass website. If it is the same, do I sign up under entertainment/travel or shopping? Thanks!

Re: Meal Vouchers

They are no longer offering those meal vouchers...not as of now. They discontiued them on January first when the new MYW program went into effect. I don't know if they are coming back or not. I haven't seen them in awhile and I do check periodically just in case. If I see them, I will report back. I never discontinued my membershipwith them. I was going to but never got around to doing it, so I would definately know.

Maybe they are coming back. I'll keep checking for you if you want, but this is the first time I am, hearing of this.

Re: Meal Vouchers

I suspected the MYW program would stop the vouchers. It makes sense. Disney was loosing a lot of potential money by not having their own meal plans.

You can easily reup your membership by logging onto the site and renew. They have other things on there are worth the $7.95 in membership fees I have found. If you want, wait until the third week of march and I will let you know if they start offering the vouchers again if that is your sole use in wanting to join again. It's no problem at all. I am hoping they start doing them again too. I am not eligible for the MYW meal plans because I am an AP holder. I used the vouchers for my trip in January and found them to be a great way to prepay for a lot of my meals.. I'll keep in touch on this .,

Re: Meal Vouchers

I was just browsing through ebay and noticed there is a seller that has quick and casual vouchers for sale, that expires on Dec. 31, 2005. Anyone knows if hotwire or connections are offering them, again?

Re: Meal Vouchers

I noticed that on ebay ,too, so someone has to be selling them that expire in December. Anyone know who is offering them? We love to use these. I let my hotwire membership expire- I am having trouble finding out whether they have them or not. Dana please check again for us.

http://www.dwtickets.com/packages.ph...ion=view&id=57 They are selling them here, but the price makes it not a good deal IMO.

Re: Meal Vouchers

Everyone please be careful because since the MYW was introduced Disney had stopped doing this. Make sure you check those expiration dates PLEASE! You can still use them as far as I know as long as they are valid.

They included the sit down restaurants and buffets. That's not a bad price. I just checked hotwire and they are not being offered at all.....

If these ones here are for the character meals etc, $16.50 is a fair price. From what I saw on there, they do. I will have to look at it closer though.

Re: Meal Vouchers

OK I just read through that a bit beter. It's very decieving. It makes you think that they are valid at all the restaurants...it's actually just a regular ol' quick and casual that we used to get for $11...this is a major rip off.
