Will The Prices Go Down For Next Year?

Does anyone think the ticket prices will go down for next year????
Since they changed to the MYW tickets, it will cost us apx 300.00 less to go than it did last year...I was planning on purchasing my passes this year for our trip next year. Does anyone think the prices are likely to go down??

I doubt it! Usually prices go UP every year, so this "reduction" is a shocker!! I'd take your $300 and run... .

I honestly don't think ticket prices are going to go down next year.

IF you are planning to go again next year, why not buy an annual pass and then go next year before the pass runs out. then you get 2 vacations off the pass plus you qualify for room discounts. That's what we do.

Good idea, we did the same thing. We will also carry some of the days into our third trip, God willing in Feb '06'.

We saved about $ 300.00 in discounts this past year with the AP!!

I wish we could go twice!! We have already gone on vacation this year (cruise) sd will not be doing WDW until next May...and I am not sure about 2007...I usually cannot talk my husband into it but every other year...! LOL
Well...sounds good then..I can feel comfortable about going ahead and purchasing the passes now...at least they will be paid for!

Is this including the Never Expire Option?

That's a big difference. Are you leaving hopper options off?

Re: Will The Prices Go Down For Next Year?

No...that is with the hopper option but not the no expire option. I should have made myself more clear initially...the 10 day was cheaper than the 7 day cost "per day"....It actually comes out to be a total of around 30 dollars more for 3 people for those 3 extra days. It cost us around 930.00 plus last year for 7 day park hopper plus for 3 of us..this year it will only cost us around 640.00 for 10 days w/the hopper option but no "plus" (we didnt use those anyway). I was thrilled with the savings!

OK, I understand now. That's still a great deal. With ten days, you may not need to Hop. Just a thought.

Very good point! Our friends did not go to the park for the amount of time they stayed in WDW. They did not buy that option and the tickets are not valid if its over a year before they return. I could be wrong about the time frame. They did mention that they should have purchased the Never Expire Option.

The reason why we are going twice this year is we bought into the WDW DVC plan. Something else you should look into, if you love WDW.

Re: Will The Prices Go Down For Next Year?

Good idea on both counts...I will most definitely check into that and see if the no-hop option might work out better. One of the main things I enjoy is to go to the MK at night every night to watch the fireworks...I think thats the main reason we do the hoppers..I like to go there even if we have been somewhere else all day! LOL

If this is your tradition, dont break it, just go with the hopper.

For the 10 pass, it isn't that much more for the hopper. I say go ahead and get the hopper and folow your tradition.

Re: Will The Prices Go Down For Next Year?

I seriously doubt it. I have never known the prices to go down for tickets...except with this MYW deal. Honestly, I suggest you grab tickets before the new year. They are more than likely going to go up again as they normally do.

Re: Will The Prices Go Down For Next Year?

Disney theme park revenue is waaaaay up according to several articles I've read lately in the business press. Some cast members on our last trip speculate that there aren't going to be as many deals in the years to come.
