Re: Single Parent budgets?

Single parent here. Advice for budgeting ...sure. I pay all my trips in payments so it doesn't get overwhelming. I pay off the trip first, then the airfare and then save the spending money. I have each and everything researched and priced, so I know exactly or close to how much everything is going to cost me. After paying off the trip and the airfare, I make envelopes for each day of my trip. On the front of the envelops are what I intend to do those days and how much it will cost along with the total. Each pay day I put a little in each envelope until the total is there. I seal the envelope and move on to the next day. This way you are totally paid for before you get there. The trip itself cna be paid off the same way. You can make installments until you pay it off. Little at a time...week by week. That's the only way I can afford to do it.

Re: Single Parent budgets?

That is not a bad idea. But how do you know what your doing each day this far in advance?

Thanks
Jen
