Walmart nearby?
We are buying our bottled water before we enter WDW. Wasn't impressed with pricing in grocery stores (maybe I am spoiled in PA). Has anyone been to the SuperWalmart? Is it close to the park?

Super Walmart in Kissimmee 192 about 10 mins away, not far.

If you have a sams card, there is a sams card that is closer to disney than walmart.

There is also a SuperTarget (quite possibly the coolest thing I have ever seen close up) about 8 miles up 1-4 going towrds Orlando..I think its the Conroy/Conrad (someone with a better memory could help me out here) Road exit

 There is a Target I dont know if its super, close to Sams.

You can only shop at a Sam's club if you are a member.
But, like FA said, the Walmart on 192 is not that far.

Can anyone tell me how to get to the Super Walmart on 192. Two years ago we stopped at Publix to get some groceries to save some money and we were very unimpressed with teh prices. SuperWalmart has to be cheaper and since we will be there for so long, I would like to get our snacks ad water bottles there.

Its on 192 (really long road), if you are coming from disney property its on your right besides the castle (mideval show). Last time I was there there was a lot of construction, so I dont know how that looks now. you can go to www.walmart.com and search for directions.

192 is the main road that boarders the south side of WDW. Simply go left (east) out of the main gate and stay on 192 until you see Walmart. It's on the right side of the road.

If you're staying on Disney property...just ask the Cast Member working the reservation desk. We got a nifty little business card a couple of years ago with directions to Walmart and Target on it. We still bring it on every trip!

The WalMart on 192 may not be far away mileage-wise, but it usually takes forever to get there due to the congested traffic on 192.
We just discovered the new Super WalMart that's much closer. If you exit WDW at the East Gate (rte 536) and turn right onto rte 535, the new WalMart is on your right side. Much nicer and much closer. We found it very convenient.
