That's a great idea. We could do Chef Mickey's or Cinderella's dinner the night we arrive, 2 days at parks, and the last day at DTD and the Boardwalk. Thanks again.

Sorry to steal your thread...but I am interested in this package...
Mickey, what if you only need one 2 day ticket? Would the package be null and viod....or would it just be cheaper to do it without the package?

Do you mean if one person already has passes, but you need a 2 day pass for a second adult?

Is airfare pretty consistent? I mean $400.00 for tickets and the room, but what about $400.00 more for airfare?

I don't know if airtran flies out of your airport or not, but they are running specials right now that may help you. How far of a drive would it be for you? Maybe you two could leave ealry in the morning and drive it to save the airfare costs? Welcome back to curtis. It's great to see you. Sorry about your current situation with the divorce.

Hi Dana. It's great to be back here. I only wish it were under better circumstances. I'd love to drive, and I think my DD would enjoy it, but it's around 1,300 miles...Yikes.

I've done some reading, and it almost looks like I can get my airfare by itself, and getting the package from disney with just passes and resort, might be the best way to go.

Curtis,
I went through your situation. My advice, no matter how tough it seems, follow through with your plan! It will be SOoooo worth it! Memories like those can be manufactured. You won't regret it. I did it 7 years ago and my guys remember that trip as much as any other. It was special.

Yeah, I just want to add "Good For You, Curtis" to the well-wishes. I don't have any Disney Package advice, but I think it's great that you're going to go make memories with your child. I find that admirable.

You hang in there...you're doing great so far!

It's amazing the amount of time you can spend researching this stuff. I hope my supervisor doesn't mind....lol.

It looks like hotel/park passes/airfare are going to cost me about $900.00 at the very cheapest. Still looking....

Re: Need help with budgeting a short trip for my daughter and I...

Thanks. The more I research this dining plan, the more I think I have to do it. Less cash I have to have on hand during the trip, and a great deal. I am thinking about setting up 3 possible trip dates, and contacting Disney at diffferent times to see if I can catch the dining deal for free. What a break that would be...
