Here's my Free Trip Plan.. Need Some Help

Dear Fans of the Mouse,

My BF and I have planned most of our free trip.. can't believe we got a free trip

I thank everyone for the suggestions, and would appreciate any more help, tips, and suggestions.

4d/3n 2 nites at Beach Club and 1 nite at Cont w/Dining Plan
4 day MYW no exp, gonna save a couple days for the other trips to WDW later that year. Will help future bugets. 10 trips in 5 years
Hopefully RT tixs by SW

Going between 2/9 - 2/12(Value Season)
Day 1 Check In at BC and a nice evening at DTD (need dinner spot)
Day 2 Disney day MK in AM w/ CRT and PM at MGM w/ Fantasmic Dinner
Day 3 Switch Hotels and evening at HDD (or another nice idea?), PI
Day 4 Breakfast @ Chef mickey. GO Home SAd!

Here is where we need help:
1. Are there any other room discounts we can get or free upgrades?
2. Can we buy an additional day of Meal plans, BF is big guy?
3. Any recommendations on the Wishes show from the water that is offered?
4. Would you encourage a trade of one less MYW day for a nite a GF?

I look forward to some great help and advice. I'm so excited!!!

I have found switiching to be a pain in the neck. With a short trip like yours, I would just stay at one resort, but you do what works for you.

How about Portabello's? I have heard wonderful things about it.

I doubt it with a free trip. You may be able to get a room upgrade. Simply ask at check in.

You can have the dining plan for your length of stay only as far as I know.

You can book a wishes cruise. I would do that right on your 90 day mark..they sell out quick.

Nope not at all. It's just a resort.

wow with all the credit apps i applied for when i was younger i wish i won a free trip...congrats to you!!!!! my husbands friend won a free trip from mcdonalds a few years ago from pulling a sticker on fries... that was in nj!! go figure!!!! hope you have fun and good luck!!!!

Personally, I would stay at a moderate and use the extra $$ to stay longer, but that's just me. I just go to the room to sleep.

Here is where we need help:
1. Are there any other room discounts we can get or free upgrades?

not this soon, watch mousavers for this info.

You cannot buy extra days on the plan, you get 1 "unit" for each night- ex. 4 nights 4 cs, 4 snacks, 4 ts.

Don't know about it, but sounds cool

4. Would you encourage a trade of one less MYW day for a nite a GF?

NO, but as I said, I only go to the room to sleep. Mayve one day if I have so much $$ I can't spend it all I might spring for the deluxe, but unless you are planning to spend a lot of time in the room or using the resort amenities (instead of cruising the parks) it is really a waste of your money. Our stay in the CBR was perfectly fine last year.

p.s- just for kicks I checked and at rack rate you con do the premium MYW package at a moderate for 1917, or the MYW plus dining for 1247. But if the deluxe is more important then go for it.

I really appreciate the additional responses that have been posted.

But we go to WDW about 2 times a year, and just got back last month

Since my BF owns a Westgate timeshare, We have to stay off property. Makes no sense to pay to stay on property. So I figure this is my only time to experience the higher life of disney resort.

Does anyone know where i can find the prices for the spa? and do they offer masages?

we are trying to make this trip nicer since it is really a freebie. We know our parks inside out, esp MK.

We were also wondering what are the nicer resturants that count as ! sit down meal on the plan?

Also, If we reserve for HDD now, would our seats be horrible?
