Look what I just found

- on the Disney site!

"Feeding your family just got easier. Now when you purchase a package including a five-night or more stay at a select Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and a five-day or more Theme Park Ticket, you receive the Disney Dining Plan for free.

Book between August 25 and November 6, 2006 for arrivals between August 12 and September 29, 2007 to get this delicious deal.
For each night of your stay, you will enjoy:
One (1) table-service meal including starter, main course, dessert (except at breakfast), non-alcoholic drink and gratuity/service charge.
One (1) quick counter-service meal, including main course and non-alcoholic drink.
One (1) snack such as a box of popcorn, a piece of fruit, a frozen ice-cream novelty or a medium fountain soft drink

Please, help me, we already have plans in place for an April trip, now I'll have to go in August again?? I'm in trouble when I tell my DH, he'll have bookings in place before he hangs up the phone.... dear me, what will I do?

You're eyes aren't broken, but did you see that it is only for residents of Northern Ireland and the UK? If you did, and you are, then go for it. If not, keep the plans you have.
I have to say, I got excited until I read the fine print.

Looks like you read it correctly, whitba. Not sure if it's JUST for UK residents. We'll have to check for further details.

Hey now, what I don't understand is the fact that they are offering this during their busy time. What about us poor people that can only go in Winter like November, Jan, Feb? It's never so busy there then, wouldn't they attract more visitors if they'd offer this meal plan then?

I completely agree.... but I think that htey are relying on us stuck up in the north to be completely sick of the cold and would spend anything for a bit of relief- so not fair! Have we heard what the offer after Nov 2 is going to be?

This is a huge kick in the gut for us!!

We arrive on Aug 4th and LEAVE on AUG 12!!!!!! And we cannot adjust our dates because we are cruising from Aug 12th thru Aug 16th!!!

OH my gosh this really hurts!!!

Free dining is good for my Disney addiction but bad for my wallet! I've taken 2 trips to WDW in the past 2 years that I would not have taken if it weren't for free dining!! It always just seems too good to resist!
