GM Discount

Does anyone know if General Motors employees get a discount at WDW? I heard if a company sponsors a disney ride and you work for the company, you can get a discount. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this and how much the discount was. Thanks.

My mother in-law was a GM employee...

All I found was something on the Canadian GM website I think.

I don't think there are any discounts anymore. I remember when TT first opened, there was some VIP thing that GM employees had special discounts to, but I am not really sure what it was all about.

I have heard about the TT thing as well. We are not with GM so I don't know for sure.

No discounts, but they still have some employee percs.

For example, DH works for HP, which sponsors Mission Space. We get access to the employee entrance, the employee lounge and a front of the line entrance to the ride.

I think GM also has such a lounge for their employees at TT. Bring your badge to gain entrance.

Oh yes, the lounges are only open Mon-Fri until like 5pm.

I forgot about the lounge thing. I had heard a rumor about those too, so it's worth a shot.
