Re: What would you recommend?
Yeah, I know, that's probably over-budgeting.
...Then again, I can easily spend that in the Japanese Pavilion... o.o; Edit: I re-budgetted to $50. XD

Re: What would you recommend?
Parking is free when you stay at a Disney Resort, doesn't SoG count?

Re: What would you recommend?
I still haven't heard from mickey through mouseketrips, and it's been a few days...
I've got more saved up, though. I'm up to $575

Awe!
Does anyone else feel like she has grown up before our eyes! Now she's taking her first solo trip......![]() Ok...I am over it! What a great treat! I took my DBF (now DH) to Disney on a budget and we had SUCH a good time! We went a few times during college Spring Break (usually in early March) and it was nice! Crowds were always a little lower..but be warned..this is usually Cheerleader time! You have almost a year to save so as long as you keep saving like you are you'll make your goal in no time! I am not firmiliar with SOG or the discounts for military--but I know that Franco stays there a TON..he's at WDW but maybe you could PM him and when he gets back he can probably help you with ticket and rooms prices and maybe tell you more about the resort.

Re: What would you recommend?
Well, when I say "parking" I mean to park in the hotel/resort parking garage. Or lot, whatever it is. We'll be using Disney transportation, of course.
Hmm, even though SoG is cheaper in the long run, I think he'd really like Pop Century more...

Re: What would you recommend?
Mmm, well, I've figured a few things out with Dopey's help. =) I switched to Pop, because he'll like it better.
Pop Century: Room and Park tickets: $1278.00 Parks: Dining: $500 ($60/2 people * 7 "fancy" restaurant-style meals, plus an extra $80) Spending (souveniers): 50/day * 7 days = $350 Travel: Gas money: about $150, estimate Emergency break-down money: $500+ (If worse comes to worse, LostBoy will pay for it.) total (so far): $ 2,278- 2,778

Re: What would you recommend?
I have been told by several people that I should fly; it'll be cheaper then. But I have had terrible experiences with planes (specificly Delta Airlines), and I'm worried they'll lose my luggage or it'll get damaged. -_-
Besides, I'm not leaving my van in the airport parking garage/lot/wherever they're left, so we'd need a ride to and from the airport. Then there's the shuttle bus once we get there. Seems to much like a hassle to me... Driving has always been so easy... Am I just being stubborn about this, or does any of this make sense?
