Wow, may I ask where you got that? My parents will be flying from Newark and they are not finding any good deals. They would like to book now. We don't go until Sept. and I suggested that they wait, by they are anxious to get everything booked.

We went through Continental's Group Air department. Your party size must be 8 or more. We locked in our price in Nov. Had to pay a $40 per ticket deposit on Dec. 1 and the balance was due on January 2nd.

Tell your parents to try Spirit air out of Atlantic City if they do not mind driving further. My Aunt flys out of there alot and is always snagging some great deals!

Airfare has gotten so expensive, we have decided to drive from now on. Unless a RIDICULOUSLY cheap DING comes my way, this is how we will travel to Orlando from now on.

Try Farecast.com, you can plug in your dates and it will send you updates on fares, when to buy and when to wait. My DH and I just got a pretty decent deal for our trip next month, $350 on Delta.

I hope you get something soon. I think with the high fuel costs really cheap flights are going to be harder and harder to come by. I've gotten $69 flights with SWA in the past but these days I'm happy with anything under $100 each way.

I don't think driving will ever be an option for us, at least for the near future. I just can't afford the time off work to spend 2 days on the road to get to there and 2 days coming home...that's four wonderful park days we don't get to take advantage of. My kids have about a 3-4 hour max time in the car before they get restless, and any stops takes a minimum of an hour. It always works out better for us to drive the 2-1/2 hours to DFW and get a direct flight. I guess we've been lucky to find flights around $200-$250 each or less every time.

Maybe I can get my request and get transferred to Tampa for my next assignment!!!

I am with you, if I can get $100 each way would even be ok, but one way is coming out $122 and the return is lowest $180

Still holding out for something better!!!

Keep watching. I got a click and save email this morning (or last night) but our May flights were the same price we piad a few weeks ago ($109 each way I think). Are your dates flexable at all? When I changed our dates from a Friday to Thursday and Sunday to Monday the same flights we cheaper yet.

Airfares go in cycles. We are in an upward trend right now. If you can wait a few months they may come down but the economy is doing well right now despite what some may say and travel is going to stay expensive until something changes. Check every day. There are sales that can be around for only a few hours. Priceline is a good way to go as well if you are not picky about flight times.

and the difference is staggering!

I made
them in September and if I needed to make them
today it would cost me an extra $551.00 !
