Dining saving question

Not sure I have this in the right place. I have heard about the free dining plan offered last year and have read some of the threads here. We are going in Sept. this year. I called WDW and asked about the free dining. The CM told me she didn't know if it would be offered or not this year and if it was to get the code offer from the website when it appeared. My question (I should have asked her but forgot) is this, where on the website will I find it?

Re: Dining saving question

In years past, it was offered to the general public in April. When it's announced, it will be listed here for sure!

Re: Dining saving question

it will be here, or on the disney website, if you price a trip, there should be an option to add the dining plan, and it will have the option to get it for free (that's how i remember seeing it, i think). or there will be a code attached to the info on the free dining plan, so you can call.

be sure to book quickly, as there are only a limited number of rooms available at each resort with the free dining plan.

i'd suggest booking through mouseketrips (you can get to their website from the mousebuzz home page), they did a great job for me last year. He made sure that i got the deal, as soon as it was available, saving me from having to stress about calling and getting it. their price was the same as what it would have been if i had done it myself on the disney site (or super close if it was any different at all), and it was less work for me!

good luck, hope its offered! ((wishing i could take advantage of it too))

and....welcome to mousebuzz!!!!

I suggest Mouseketrips too. I tried getting into Port Orleans Riverside on my own and couldn't get it with free dining so I almost ended up spending loads more and staying at the Boardwalk. Then I checked with Mouseketrips and Mickey was able to get me into POR without any problem.

But I've already made reservatiions and paid the deposit plus some through WDW Travel. Can I change now to Mouseketrips? Also, should I wait to make flight reservations in case I need to change my dates by a day or two?

MouseSavers.com - Disney Discount Source - Disney World Discounts, Disneyland Discounts, Disney Cruise Discounts seems to be the site that posts any discounts the quickest.

Re: Dining saving question

i would most definitely wait on air! just better safe than sorry. unless you can get a deal with no penalties to change.

as for switching after paying deposit, etc....i'd email mouseketrips and ask. can't hurt to ask.
