I've been using my card a lot more over the last six or seven months because my husband and I are building a house. I thought it would be good to charge as much as I can (and then write a check from my construction loan) to earn the extra points.

I seem to have noticed that I get more of these offers now that I used my card more. I received one for Jan - Mar and then another for Apr - Jun.

It looks like there is no rhyme or reason as to why you get the special offers. We usually put 3000 plus each month on ours and never seem to get any offers. Has anyone been told they don't qualify but called back and was able to do it. We have 2 different accounts with high limits and neither one of ours qualified.

I called and the rep told me that since they were in the middle of a promo she could not add it, but would recommend my card for the next promo.

The only sad part is we're going to DW in Sept....

I tried entering my Disney VISA number, but it was not recognized. Apparently this program is being marketed to a specific demographic. I have tons of credits I've been saving for our trip in December, so maybe folks who have a bunch of credits are not getting the offer. So sad - I would so like to pay for most of the trip with credits. :)

I called and asked Chase when the 5X extra points are exactly added to the account seeing my offer ends June 30.

They told me it sometimes takes up to 12 - 18 weeks to add the points after this promo ends. Does anyone know? Did you ever get this offer before? This is our first offer ever.

Everyone try calling again and be REALLY SWEET to the person who takes your call. If its a woman tell her you LOVE the chase visa etc...... she gave me 10 points for calling when I told her she was the nicest operator I ever got! So they do get some chances to give extras if you are sweet when you call. Chase is DESPERATE to get people to use there CC we pay ours off each month so they do not make money on our family ever but they are in a bind trying to get out of all tose bad loans and people not paying their cards because of job loss.

Paid to be sweet to the person who answered and I asked her seeing she was so nice, could she sign me up for any offers coming out in the future? She said seeing I was so nice to her because most people when they call are so nasty and hateful she had added us to the future offer lists.

I have a Standard Chase credit card and I called because I had a fradulent charge on my account. They cancelled the card and told me they were issuing me a new card and number so I asked to get the card switched over to the Disney Card since they advertise that you can choose your program. They thanked me for being a loyal Chase customer and then told me I would have to apply for a Disney Chase Card. I told them to keep the card and close my account.

I signed up for the 5X's offer I got in the mail in January...it ran from Jan-March and I JUST got $104 Bonus dollars added to my account May 15th. Just in time for our trip in 13 days..woo!

I do agree that you CANNOT carry a balance on this card or it's just not worth it. We have had the card for 4 years and we charge EVERYTHING and pay it off in full each month. I have never paid one penny in interest. In 3 years we racked up $1054 in Rewards...so food and tickets are essentially "free" on this trip. It isn't the best rewards card out there, but we'll hang on to it and enjoy the free Disney money for as long as we continue to go to Disney.
