Disney Visa 5X Rewards, I was offered this today,Has any one eles done this? You get 5x the disney points if you spend 250.00 or more in 1month on Gas,Restraunts,Groceries and Airlines.The promotion is April 1-June 30. You get the bonus pointd 6-8 weeks later.

UGH can you share the link for this? I got a notice a couple months ago that went from Jan. - Mar. and forgot to sign up for it. I am gonna buy the seasonal passes with our points for the May trip and it will wipe us out so the faster I can start restocking would be great!

I got this a few months ago, too. I signed up to so I could build more points for our June trip. I received a postcard with a pin number I had to enter to register. Is that how yours worked?

I got the same thing in the mail recently. I signed up for it because anyway to earn extra points is always helpful.

I called the number and entered my credit card and it said that my card was not recognized to participate

I got this in the mail yesterday as well. We barley use our Disney Visa but it looked like a good deal but I did see that you have to spend over $100 on either groceries, gas, travel and some other places before the bonus points start. It would end up costing us more than it would be worth (for us) so we opted not to do it.

You know, I looked at the Disney card about a year ago. I found the interest rate to be much higher than my current card, off-setting any points reward.

That is true, it's only a good deal if you don't carry a balance on the card.

I want one, but I only keep one credit card, so I'm waiting until I've earned my million miles with my airline, and will switch over then to start earning Disney points...

I have NEVER paid interest on my Disney card. We have another card we earn points on too (But since we are planning another trip to DW I am using the Disney card) I use it for everything. groceries, gas, phone and cable bills, walmart..... I write the amount in my checkbook and deduct it, then when my bill comes I actually have the full amount to pay off the bill. It works great if you use it like this.

is ok, I put a lot on that card every months and rack up points that way.
