Pixie dust! I am in the same situation as you for our Disney Cruise in April. They want to charge us $500. to fly to Orlando when we've never paid more than HALF of that. It's crazy. I really hope you find something reasonable.

For me the layovers to save $$ never work.
I spend more hanging in the airport waiting for the next flight!  Pixie dust to you . . . check everyday . . . I got luck and saved nearly $100/ticket! Someone told me on WED fares are cheaper . . . don't know if it's true?? But heck anything is worth a try to save some $! |

Ouch, that hurts
 Definitely check for fares on Wed late night and Sat late night. Hopefully that helps. Also like other have posted, sign up for airline alerts. We get Air-Tran and Spirit Air alerts for fares regularly. Sending lots of Pixie Dust and crossed fingers for better fares.

Have you tried Westjet - they only have flights on specific days, but sometimes you can get a more reasonable fare. Good luck!
