Last summer we got the base tickets with waterpark. We didn't park hop and felt that we had plenty to do. We originally had 7 day tickets but added 3 more days when we decided to fly instead of drive. It only cost our family of five an extra $25 or so for the extra days. Between the waterparks and disneyquest we had more than enough to do and never felt the need to park hop. We also spent the extra time at the parks when we arrived and on our last day before the flight. We went to the parks that we wanted to spend more time at.

You know, when you have to buy a whole bunch of tickets, hopping just doesn't seem worth it. You pay a lot more for that privilege. We always bought hoppers and there were times when we ended up going back to the same park in one day. I just recommended to my friend to go ahead and get base tickets for her family when I saw the price difference. There really is more than enough to do in one park for a day.

Okay, I swear we did this! We purchased an extra day two years ago...and went to 2 parks in one day...it used another whole day of ticket, but that was what is was for, so it was fine....am I crazy? This was also our plan for this year...we did it so we could eat not necessarily at the park we spent the day at...am I crazy? or has old age gotten to me? (nice when you remember life the way you want it to be, not necessarily how it happened? LOL)
