So, I can combine my MYW tickets on the KTTW, but should book the DDP at the time I book my room with my AP discount? Is that right?

yes..book the DDP with room...I believe you have to purchase a one day MYW ticket though? I may be wrong, so maybe someone can clarify.

If you can book an AP discounted room and add the dining plan do it all together, don't wait until you get there to add the dining plan.

I belive that changed and AP holders can add the dining plan w/o buying a one day pass.

When I was there this past Jan I made the mistake and applied a discount to my ressie. Which in turn canceled out my DDP. I found this out after getting to POP. I tried to readd the DDP to my card, and was told that it would take 48 to 62 hours for it to show up on the card. Which just baffled me but anyway. Just feel it best to go ahead and purchase the DDP when you book the room/package.

DT is correct- This past May we purchased the DDP without buying a one-day pass since we are AP holders.

Conversely, for the Free Dining next month, we had to purchase one-day MYW tickets for all four of us to get the free dining.

Our next trip I will purchase from one of these on line sites. Besides saving a little money, both of our local Disney Stores have closed so that ends our family tradition of going there get our tickets, surprise the kids and shop in the Disney atmosphere to warm up!

we just priced our trip and for us to get the room and then buy tickets else were it was only going to save us 53 dollars. to me not worth the hassle or the worry of wondering. unless you guys know something I dont
