MYW Tickets NOT purchased through Disney
I know several of you have purchased tickets through outside dealers such as Mapleleaf, Undercover Tourist, etc. My question is - when you receive those tickets are they to be used separate from your Key to the World?
Like when we get our KTTW cards we use them for everything ~ dining, passes, purchasing, etc. If we were to buy park passes from an outside dealer, would we have 2 separate items or can they be combined once we get to the resort and check in?

I believe you can combine them if not when you check in then at guest services maybe. I have never done it so I'am just guessing.

My guess would be no- you will have 2 cards- one is your plastic KTTW card and the other is a paper card ticket for the parks.

If you purchase them at Disney World you can have them added to your keys. Although I think that I read on another thread that you could have them added. Can't remember though. Sorry. That was not much help. Let me see if I can find the other thread.

Last time I inquired about a similar question, several had mentioned they would combine them. I chickened out though going through something other than Disney, cause a couple of times at check in we have been upgraded. I figured, if they saw we were going elsewhere for tickets, it would probably put a damper on the possibility of us getting upgrades.

I can tell you for sure that they can combine your tickets purchased elsewhere with your room key. We purchased our tickets thru Undercover Tourist and they combined them with our room key after check-in at the concierge desk in SSR. We just did this last month. Our tickets had even been used for a day and he was able to put the remainder in the key!!

Do you mean an upgrade on your room? The ticket combining happens after check-in when your room is already assigned, so that would not even affect any upgrades!!

We used Undercover Tourist and used our room key and park tickets separately. To be honest I never thought about combining them. Since they were still Disney tickets I am positive you can have them combined. The tickets are the same as if you were to purchase them directly from Disney.

Like daydreamer I purchased tickets from mapleleaf and we had 2 seperate tickets we didn't think of combining them. I don't know if you could or not. Sorry not much help.

I have purchased tickets from somewhere other than Disney and just went to concierge and they added them to our Key to the World cards.

You cannot combine separate park tickets into one ticket (i.e. a 2 day and a 4 day to create a 6 day), but you can put one park ticket onto a room key as long as it is a MYW ticket and you do not have any other ticket entitlements on your existing room keys.

I think that the DDP has to be paid for in full in advance of your arrival so therefore I think there is a 5 day before arrival minimum booking.
