Florida Resident Discount Passes

Does anyone know how the Florida resident discounts work? I know some basics -- Florida residents get discounted 4-day parkhoppers that expire in the fall.

But can family living in Florida purchase tickets for out-of-state visitors?

Do you have to show ID each time you enter the park with one of these tickets?

Does the resident have to accompany the family member?

Anything else anyone can share with me?

We just bought the Play 4 passes at the Disney Store and the CM there said, that any adult in the party, had to show proof of residency (i.e. driver license or picture ID) to activate their pass.

I also heard that they do a thumb print check for each pass. I am almost positive I remember this from 6 yrs ago when we had our AP's.

Probably not what you wanted to hear :( Sorry
