The best time I ever went was this past Feb. It was the last day of Feb to the first few days in March.
the weather was perfect and the crowds were no where to be found

What do you mean by perfect weather? I've learned we all have a different version. I'm from so. cal. It was 93 degrees today, perfect weather to me. Anytime the temp. stays below 100 and above 70ish (at night) is my favorite.
