Is anyone familiar with these stores, where they are located, and which are the best to find some great deals?

Since we will be driving this trip in February, we decided we would like to hit one or two of the Disney Outlet locations to see if we can find some good deals.

I am a bit confused....it looks like there are 2 Outlet stores right off of I-95 in St. Augustine.

It also looks like there are a few near WDW too. One at the Premium Outlets or is it the Belz Outlet or is it the Chelsea Outlet???

Which of these would be the best to go to and the easiest to get to?

There is one in Jackson, NJ...its stinks. I can get the same stuff for the same price at the regular disney store in my mall....cheaper online. It's a waste for me to even go there.

The ones that we go to whilst on holiday at WDW are really very good. There is one at the Prime outlet mall, and also at the mall that used to be Beltz but it now called something else.
They tend to sell alot of 'last season' stock and of course while we were there there was a ton of MGM studios stuff in.
I had bought a swim coverall from GF the day before we went and paid 49.99 for it, the 'last season' version (very similar)- was in the Character Warehouse for 9.99.
There was also a beautiful wall plate featuring Cinderella's castle which had retailed in WDW for 150 it was on sale there for 4.99- we wanted to buy one but they were so heavy.
I bought a collectable set of WDW commerative coins in a glass presentation box which had retailed at 65 dollars for 4.99 ( I bought three of those)
I am trying to think of other 'good buys' we have had,- tons of shirts etc, and aslo alot of the collectable pins.
It really is worth a visit- especially if you have alot of present buying to do for back home.

Oh and forgot to say they are easy to get to and they are called 'Character Warehouse' no direct reference to Disney!!

I am trying to find cheap Disney items for an annual fundraiser we are doing in April. This year's theme is Disney's Birthday...(by the way, we had this planned since last April, so in fact, I believe Disney stole MY idea for the Birthday celebration theme)

Are they all easy to get to? Which would you recommend?

Do you know anything about the St. Augustine stores?

I've been to the Outlet store in NJ and Delaware too and I agree with you. I think they carry most of the same stuff as the regular stores.

I think these Outlet store in Florida are a bit different. I have read that they carry a lot of WDW merchandise with some steep discounts. Hope I can find some deals.

Any of the Outlets in Orlando have great stuff. We can typically purchase 70.00 Sweatshirts for 25.00. The prices are really amazing. There is an outlet that is right off of International Drive that one is really great.

I believe so. They have the most amazing deals. We are lucky to have one in an outlet mall here near Ft Myers FL and that one has great stuff too. I got an embroidered kids Tinkerbelle hooded zipper sweatshirt for 5.99

I go to the one in St. Augustine ALL the time. (My kitchen is completely re-done in Mickey themed stuff from THIS location!)

All my Disney clothes come from there, all my scrapbooking Disney stuff, all my Disney toys, etc.

I -LOVE- that outlet!!!

Everything is basically half-off the ticket price of the parks and they get the stuff from ALL the parks (DL, DL Paris, etc) right after season ends or overstock from the current season.

Some items are even more deeply discounted. Postcards are usually 10-99 cents (depending on how complicated the post card is - you know how Disney postcards can be!)

We have a framed picture of the 'icons' of all the different parks in black and white with coins from each park and it was only 5.99. In the park it was 35.00

The Christmas ornaments run from 99 cents to 7.99, which is deeply discounted from the park selection.

I could go on and on and on but I just love the manager there. He helped Sissy with her "hygiene kits" (as many of you did, here, too) and they were fabulous. HE still remembers her and gives her a pin when he sees her. (Not every time but ALOT of the time!)

The pins are NOT discounted unless they have a "2008" on them or they are marked seasonally in some way. Like, Stitch in a Christmas hat pin would be discounted throughout the summer, etc.

It's VERY easy to get to - you jump off the exit and take that first left into Belz Rd. That's your road. They just re-did the whole little side there and now it has KATE SPADE, LUCKY JEANS, etc!! (I love!!)

The food court leaves a LOT to be desired, but I live for those dang pretzels!!

OMGosh! I am so excited to hear this about your experience at this site Erin. We planned on stopping there first! We thought it might be the easiest since it was on our way to and from WDW. I hope I can find lots of good stuff for my fundraiser.

Orlando Outlet Shopping | Character Outlet

I am sure you will be spoilt for choice for the fundraiser- Like Erin I could go on and on with examples of terrific deals we bought a friend of ours little girl (age 3) a HSM3 shirt for $5.00 the original ticket was $26.00- sometimes there is current stock that may be slightly faulty-I have been to the one above and the one at Premium outlet mall and both of them are not far from WDW.
