They are paid by Disney for the trips they book.

I always book through AAA and we always save money. It just gets your room, dining plan and tickets purchased and then you get the fun of planning your visit in greater detail. The membership was $60 and I think we saved over $200 over booking with WDW directly. And as an added bonus our agent was very nice and helpful. It may be worth looking into. Hope this helps. I would never want someone to book our restaurant reservations - I love that part.
