Hey Thanks Irs!!!!!!! Here We Come Disney!!!

Today I checked out www.irs.gov to see if I was going to be eligible for the child tax credit. I have 3 kids and much to my surprise we are eligible for $400 per child equalling a total of $1200 from the good 'ol IRS. And the best part is they tell you when it is to be mailed out. Ours will be mailed this Friday!!! So we will put this away towards spending money for the WDW trip in September. :p I literally was doing the Disney dance when I saw the amount on my computer!!! You can check out if you are getting any back by going to the IRS website and clicking on Child tax credit, then click check the status of my Child Tax Credit and then follow instructions and then it will calculate if and how much you will be getting and when!!! Good luck to all others!!!:) Hope others are as fortunate I we are with this!!!

I remember rlander telling us about this a couple months ago! I was hoping to receive the $$$ before we leave in 23 days!
Thanks for the heads up as to when they will be mailed. Ours also will be mailed Friday the 25th! We also have three children...the sky will be the limit at WDW!!!Eat, drink, shop and be merry!

Note: This refund is an advance refund for this year if I am correct...not last year!

Just my luck. I miss the July 25 deadline by one stinkin' number. Oh well, August 1 is only 9 days away. Too bad we already spent it all!

Mailing Schedule for Advance Child Tax Credit Payments
For the first three weeks, the checks will be sent according to the last two digits of the taxpayer's social security number:
00-33 -- mailed July 25
34-66 -- mailed August 1
67-99 -- mailed August 8

I went there, and it doesn't say *for sure* that you are getting it. They just use your ss# to determine *when* you will be getting it "if you qualify for it". I'm still unclear as to if I will or not

But if I don't get anything in the mail the week of 8/1 then I guess that's my answer;)

Just a note mine says I am getting it for sure and when I will get it. If yours says otherwise makesure you put in ALL exemptions in the exemptions box!!! This INCLUDES you and spouse if applicable!!! A friend only put in exemtions as her 4 kids and forgot her and her husband and it said "if you are eligible" Then she went back and put in the right amount of exemptions and it told her an exact $ amount and when it would be mailed!! Hope this helps!!

THANK YOU!!!! I put in the # of exemptions wrong (:whistle: ). I AM getting this back, for one child...this will be my payment for our Meet and Great in Feb!!! Yes!!

:( I'm wearing a big pouty face now! My DH told me he checked and we're not getiing a penny! Oh well, there are lots of other things to be thankful for. DH has a wonderful job and we're going to WDW for my DD's b-day! Happy for all of you but extremely jealous!

Boo Hoo no money for us. So no disney dance for me. Oh well we're going anyway and we will have a good time even without extra money for Uncle Sam (though it would have been nice!!). I'm happy for all of you that are getting it -- it's just great to get money you wern't expecting. Enjoy it.

Paula, that is exactly what happened with us. We'll just have our pitty party together in November! We moved our trip up by one day so now we're arriving Nov. 15th.
