Connections vouchers

I actually would like to check out the website and see if I would like to join for a month to get vouchers. However, I do not know the web address. Can someone give that to me and let me know if these vouchers are a good idea or not? And if I do buy vouchers how long does it take to get them??

Thanks:) :)

If you are looking for the vouchers through Connections it is www.connections123. The site gives a very little information on it to be honest. I have heard bad reviews about the company but good reviews about the vouchers themselves.

I just joined through Lillian Vernon for a free month and then the monthly fee is $8.95 I believe and where you can cancel anytime. I decided to join because we are doing several character breakfasts and larger lunches. I did my ordering online yesturday and from what I hear if the order is over $50 then you get express mail but you have to sign for it. I will let you know when I get mine.

Ebay has sellers on there but I wouldnt recommend them because the price is steep and you dont know if you are getting the real thing. I cant imagine if you where to go to Disney thinking you are ahead of the game to find out that you are worse off.

Another option is that there is a Florida company that sells the vouchers as well. The prices are a little more money but you dont have to agree to a contract. I dont know the name of the company but someone around here will help you.

Good luck in your seach.:)

I have ordered them through Connections 123 (actually DEALPASS, which is the same company), and I kept my membership for the month only. It cost $1, and you can cancel anytime before the 30 days are up. The vouchers got to me in 2 days! And Yes, I did have to sign for them, but the service was great. I cancelled because I ordered everything I needed (Character Breakfast vouchers, Vacation Kingdom vouchers and Quick and Casual lunch/dinner vouchers). I had absolutely no problems cancelling.

I just joined dealpass.com for $1 (30 trial period). To protect myself, I went to my local mall and purchased their Visa giftcard. Since, the Visa giftcard can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, including online, I have had no problem using it. I ordered my vouchers last night and that's it. I don't have to worry about connections/dealpass cancelling their membership, double billing, or anything related. This card was purchased with just enough to pay for the trial membership of $1 and my vouchers, I believe it may still have about $10 left. But, at least my credit cards and bank accounts are safe. I got what I paid for and they got their money, this is a win-win situation.

GOOOOOOO NAAAVVVVYYYY!!!!!

I never thought of getting a Visa Gift Card to buy things online. That's a great idea!! Did it cost you anything to buy the card, like a service fee?

WHAT A GREAT IDEA, iluvwdw2!!! You get the ribbon for most helpful suggestion today!

:!: (Sorry....best I could do;))

This idea would also help those of you who have taken advantage of this program before. My understanding is that if you have joined in the previous year, you cannot re-join. They verify by using your credit card number.

RE:DisneyAnne and Mickaholic4077

I'm glad I could give a decent tip. I just went to my local mall and purchased their Visa giftcard. I did pay a service fee of $2.50, but that's it. We feel better knowing that our credit card information and check card info. (that's attached to our bank accounts) are not floating around online. These cards are extremely useful for making online purchases and you can purchase them from any local bank that offers them or just go to your local mall.

It might not - they wouldn't resell to me - my husband signed up last fall, different name, different credit card number. I tried to sign up and they kept kicking me out of the system. Finally had to speak with someone and they pulled up DH's name and said we'd all ready had a trial period.

However, when I told them I canceled due to inpossible customer service, they reinstated our old account, but gave us an additional 30 day trial.

This is my first time joining (Dealpass/Connections). However, from what I've read here, if you think about it you may be able to join repeatedly for $1. You see, according to MickeyMac, they kept kicking her out of the system, even when her husband tried with a different name and address.

Well, the angle here could be, the Visa giftcards, have no names on them, your home address is never on file, and there is always a different account number for each new card. All of these elements, would make it impossible to verify the same person. People move all of the time so, to deny new membership because of an address match would not be practical for business.....so no denial here. People have roommates and have to share phone lines within the home, so to deny due to phone match, again impractical. Even if you are concerned about using the same phone number, some people have multiple lines (different numbers) within the home, cell phones, and work numbers, as well, if you just wanted to go to the extra trouble. Because the giftcards, aren't "credit" connected, they can't verify name, date of birth, address, phone number, social security number or anything personally identifying, although, I doubt they put themselves through the trouble. Oh yeah, as far as a name match, well, you can order under any name you want. The vouchers aren't preprinted and unless, you do a return to sender, then, they will be delivered to your home. So, you could order and have them sent under your child's name, your nickname, your alias, your dogs name (Chip Hogan, the poodle)...lol. The point is they can't tell the difference, because chances are you are getting kicked back by a computer system. Then, they have to go into the system to find out why your being denied. Well, the computer is programmed with artificial intelligence, a human can still manipulate, any program our minds create. So, I suppose it is possible to join multiple times, without raising a "red flag."

My belief is that MickeyMac (and her husband) was getting kicked back because they were using information that can be verified and was already, in their system, thus, their names and addresses kept coming up and kicking them back, as previous/current members. I honestly do not know if this is the case, but how do you verify an anynomous cardholder, they are whomever they choose. Like I said, this is only my first time ever joining, but there may be a fairly decent chance that anyone might be able to join, more than once.

Of course, I could be wrong and my thoughts could be getting away from me:nervous

I joined Connections a week ago then placed an order on Tuesday for vouchers since with the military deal I dont need tickets for admission.

I got my vouchers on Friday, I was so excited. I know you probably think it is silly but it just made the trip more of a reality for me to have them in hand and paid for.

Now I just have to finish paying off the hotel and I will be set.

As for connections, I am going to order a few Quick and Casual passes and a few movie tickets then I am cancelling.

Sounds like a great idea! I wonder if they have those Visa cards in my mall...I have never heard of them!

I'll try to use a different credit card, different name, but that will be later in the year. Or that Visa card, if I can find it! We'll see what happens!

Hey, if anyone lives in Long Island, NY, do you know where I can get those Visa cards?!?! :dazed :dazed :nervous :nervous
