All you can drink mugs

A friend of ours who visited the All Star Movies Resort last year gave us her all-you-can-drink for $10 mugs that she had bought during her visit. Does anyone know if we can use the same mugs this year when we are at the same resort? Do they change from year to year?

I don't know if they have changed designs, but we had mugs from the same resort, different designs, and no one said anything, but I figure they don't really care about the cost of soda (I bet they have a heck of a contract with them) I think they rules on can or cannot can change from CM to CM

Do not worry about using your friends' mugs. No one will tell you not to use them. There is no way they can police the soda island in the All-Star food court.

Hi, a few other mug questions:

We have mugs from last year from POR. We are staying there again and I assume that it is OK to use them this year, correct?

We have a BB mug that when we bought it we were told that we could use it at TL also. If we buy a new daily sticker (bar code), can we use it at both parks?? Am I dreaming about this??

It depends what you mean by OK. I think the idea behind the refillable mug it that it is good for this only. However, many people return with mugs and reuse them with out paying for them again and the CMs never say anything to them. . I have heard that some places have a sign up that tells you you can't reuse the mugs. I have read posts where people ask CMs and are told that it is OK to reuse the mug. I think some mugs even have dates on them now so you can't reuse them.

I was getting ready to ask everyone to give their opinion on whether you should or should not do this. However, after your comment, I think I'll just let that puppy lie!! LOL:D

LOL, Dana, smart girl!! I wasn't trying to start a moral battle as to what is right and wrong just stating facts (I hope).

I posted a poll about this very issue a month or so ago and no one here got upset over this issue. I just think it is a decision each person has to make on his/her own as to what is right and wrong.

I think the majority here was with reuse tham if possible. I haven't looked at it weeks (since it fell off the front page).

I know that I had ready some really lengthy posts on this topic which had a complete mix of perspectives. I really wish WDW was simply clearer on their policy. We, I am sure like many of you, do not want to take advantage of the system. On the other hand if it is acceptable, we would like to be budget savy and save a few $$ ;) . The funny part is I have no doubt that those few $$ will go right back to Mickey on some other purchase!

Anyway, we are going to the happiest place on earth in 14 days and deep down when I am there in that magical place, I do not care how much a soda costs:D .

OK, I have a question about mugs. Do they have them at EVERY resort? And what if you are splitting your time between hotels...do I have to buy a mug at BOTH resorts? Or will they let me use my Poly mug at OKW without getting glaring looks of disapproval from the CM's?????? :hmmm :nervous :hmmm :nervous

Each resort has their own mugs and from my understanding they
are to be used at that resort only and on that trip only. At least that's what I remember reading.

I know what you're saying, but that doesn't make sense since I am staying 1 night at All Star Sports, 2 nights at the Poly and 3 nights at OKW!!! :dazed
