Hi everyone,

I just got back from my WDW vacation and I used the Disney Dream Rewards Card at several merchandise locations - when giving them the card, you should definitely stress that it is NOT a credit card and you will NOT have to sign anything to redeem the dollars. Several of the cast members I encountered were not sure how to process the rewards and one (at Splash Mountain Photos) was actually pretty rude about it. He put my whole order through once and put through the card and then immediately started voiding it out because he thought something was off since nothing printed out for me to sign, I explained it was not a credit card and I didn't think I had to sign anything and he snapped "Well, you should have told me that!" and got really snippy. Everyone else was nice about it but still not very familiar with how to process it. Also, just as a note, we were not able to use it at either Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney or the Ghiradelli Soda Fountain.

We just got our card and was surprised to note that the card is only good for one year, you have to request another card if you are going to use it later, and the points from the first card do not transfer to the second card. So in other words, don't request your card until right before you need it, and then only transfer the points you would use on that trip.
