Buying annual passes /best way to save

This seems the best place to get all my questions answered , so here we go ... I need to buy 4 annual passes, for my family, this is our first time buying annual passes. What is the best way to save as much money as possible . We are leaving in 2 weeks. Any help is always appreciated.
Thanks

If you have the Disney Club card still, the best bet is to buy them here, at the Disney Store. There's about a $10 or $15 discount on them until the end of the year, but only if your a Club member.

The only other discount on AP's that I'm currently aware of is if you're a Disney Vacation Club member (own timeshare with them)

Even without the discount, your best bet is to buy your AP's at the Disney Store and redeem them on the first day you go to the parks (DS gives you a voucher, which you turn in at Guest Services for your annual pass at the parks)

Hope this helps, and helps you get many more days at Disney for you to come back here and share your stories with us!! :D

Two other ideas are to check with Triple A for their prices (You do not have to be a member). Also, check the prices on-line from the Disney World website. As noted, both places would give you a voucher and your one year would start when you get the actual Annual Pass at the WDW.

Thanks for the ideas . Unfortunately we don't belong to the Disney Club . I will check out AAA though. I have already checked out the WDW web site so I know where I'm starting from. Any other suggestions ???

Hi everyone,
I just stumbled upon this thread because I was looking into purchasing my APs, and of course, would like a discount on the price of them. I know that they are a good value, but, like everyone else, I'm still looking to save even more:whistle:
Is the cheapest way to buy APs at the disney store? or the WDW website? or AAA? I saw that the last time someone responded to this thread was in 2003, and I just wanted to know if there have been any new developments that anyone is aware of. I just need a way to buy my APs with a discount! :) :heart

The only Annual Passes I see on AAA's website is for Florida residents only. They have the Hopper and Hopper Plus Passes but no out-of-state AP's.

We are looking to buy AP's also but everything I have found says there are no discounts on AP's. I would love to find something!

You can buy them from buy them from the Disney store. It's the only way to save a buck or two that I know of. I bought mine for my january 2005 trip now to get this year's rates instead of the higher one that we will see soon. It may not be much saved, but it's stil less than if I paid for them later. I bought mine through from Mouseketrips. They are booking my entire stay and have been wonderful.
