Go to Cirque du Soleil at DTD. You will enjoy the look on your friends' faces when you say "It's really hard to describe, but you have to go see it!!"

I have to agree with 15 min....The water mouse boats are so much fun!! Be sure you each rent one, I would recommend one from a resort near the MK, you can go over to FW, WL, there's a lot of neat things to do with them. (and they seem to go a little faster than the ones from DD) We also did a Fireworks cruise, from the Contemperary after Chef Mickeys dinner, for my DH birthday. It was so fun, a great way to watch the fireworks, the drivers have little tidbits of Disney trivia to share with you. She even took us to her favorite spot to watch the water parade!!
Another fun thing is the carriage ride, you can do that from FW, and I think Port Orleans? If you do the last one from FW, you also see the water parade from that! Maybe do a trail ride from FW, we have yet to do that (my DD is to young, and since she rides at home each day, she'd be quite angry to say the least if she couldn't go, or had to ride with someone else) but they look fun!! Have a great trip! Lauren |

They are rented by the 1/2 hour. I think its $20. for 30 minutes? around there anyhow. You can rent them from any resort with a marina-Contemp, Poly, Floridian, OKW, PortOrleans, CBR, Downtown Disney. When we rented them the 1st time, my DD was having "tea with Alice" and my DH and I needed something to pass the time-we were hooked!!! They are so much fun. The next time we did them with my DD-she was jealous when she saw the pictures- from the Poly. This last time we rented from Downtown Disney and were a little disappointed. The were not as fast, and there really wasn't as much to explore.
THEY ARE FUN!!!! Lauren |

For sure rent a mouse boat! Lots of fun!
As far as back stage tours, spend the extra money and go on the Back Stage Magic Tour. Well worth it. APs get a discount on all tours. It is the best tour they have going and we highly recommend it having been on it and others. -John- |

while I agree with LAURENGOLD I just wanted to add a few things. the popular theroy that the MK area is 100% true, they have a 15 horsepower engine I think, around that number, at the YC/BC and DTD/POR/OKW/POFQ they run I think a 6 to 7 horsepower to control wake in that area. so I recomend renting at the poly or the cont. becuase they normally have a good number of boats, today I was going to rent one however there was a line and they were waiting on boats to return so I decided not to. as for the price its $22/half hour $32ish/45 mins. as for how long can you rent them well I'd imagine if you kept it at full throttle you'd run out of gas after 4 or 5 hours but other then that I know of no time restrictions other then during normal marina hours and the vary on seasons. also every now and then disney throws out a package that for $200 you can have unlimited recreation for 4 or 5 people for your vacation of course its disney so things change quickly I don't think they are offering it now, but I'm not sure.

I would definitly recommend a tour.. espically the Backstage Magic Tour. It is apx a 7 hour tour. You go backstage at Epcot, MGM and MK. As well as the workshops and warehouses behind (north of) the MK. Lunch is included at MGM. Depending on the discounts you are eligible for it will run $140-200. And it is worth every penny! You may want to call and see if there is room available. 407.WDW.TOUR They only allow 20 people/day max.

My hub and I did the Dolphin Encounter at Epcot and La Nouba this year and he hasn't stopped talking about either one. (We also did the Sunrise Safari and the only thing he talks about there was the lion.) You get pictures with the Dolphin thing, too.
