Triple A-other savings?

I've heard about the AAA discount rates for rooms at WDW. Are there any other WDW-specific savings you can get from joining?

AAA

AAA offers park passes also. 4-day park hopper pass is $198.50 (adult) and $157.00 (child). 5-day park hopper pass is $221.50 (adult) and $175.30 (child). This is as of January/February 2004 magazine. These are the only passes they offer and the price includes taxes. They also have vacation packages but I have never inquired about them so I can't tell you anything. Hope this helps. Have a Magical day!!!!!!! :D :) Joe

I called AAA's travel services yesterday to see if they had any package discounts. Right now, for travel in the first week of May, their package prices are a little better than booking directly through Disney. For my 4-night stay at the Polynesian, the AAA price was about $100 less than Disney's, but AAA's also included bus service via Mears.

It's a good deal compared to what is currently available. However, I've been told that if Disney offers another package discount when the current "Spring Dream Maker" package expires in mid-April, then that will probably be better than the AAA discount. I booked my hotel through Mouseketrips and got the AAA discount; if a package deal comes out, then the agent will cancel the hotel and rebook under the package. The AAA discount would then be irrelevant.

Lots of work just to save a few dollars!

;)
