Your child is lost!?! Oh Lord, do you remember what they were wearing that morning, have a current picture of them.

Well sure you do!!!

Remember those CMs taking pictures of folks as you enter the park, on Main Street, in front of Space Ship Earth, etc., at every park. Let them take a picture of your family. If you buy it or not you have a receipt for a current picture taken that day. If something happens you hand security your picture receipt and presto...you have a current picture of the children with what they were wearing that day. Does not cost nothing to have the picture taken and get a receipt.

And you thought those photographers were nothing but in the way of you taking your own pictures. Use thier services for your own welfare.

That is a good idea!! Also, for those of us with Digital Cameras, you could just shoot a picture of your kids in front of your hotel door every day before you hit the parks.

Unfortunatley, if your kids are anything like my DD...you'll have to get several shots though out the day, as she is ALWAYS spilling on herself and I am constantly pulling a new outfit out of the backpack:laugh !!

Be sure that if your kids are not old enough to talk (or speak clearly) that they wear a name badge (like a guest of honor badge) or a lanyard with a pouch. In the pouch you can put a business card size note with a cute mickey sticker on the side facing out (that people can see) and facing toward your child is their name (first name AT LEAST) parents first names and the name of the resort you are staying at.

Well, the thing about doing it yourself with a digital camera is that you can't rapidly print copies. Disney can print quickly from the picture stored in the system should the need arise.

Something else about security, if you are one of those families that like to wear the same color shirt you had printed with your family name on it, stop. The same bright color shirt is a wonderful idea but with everyone's name on it, you are asking for trouble. Yellows, bright greens, something like that is wonderful. Hats come off too much and too small to notice in large crowd to be of any good.

Excellent idea! What a great tip! I will do just that. My DD hasn't lost me yet (try as she may), but this will plan will be a little weight off my shoulders. I wouldn't want to lose her at all, but at least now I have a plan. Thanks!:)
