How to get the 7 nights for 4 with a New Disney Visa and no special offer card!!
Ok, I got my Disney visa card today. I did not receive one of the special cards in the mail that offer you the special 7 nights for the price of 4 nights at the resorts. I first activated my new card. Then I called the Disney Visa people and told them that I had applied for the Disney visa card because I had heard of the 7 nights for the price of 4 offer, but that I did not get one of the offer cards in the mail. The guy told me that since I was a new customer I was able to get the special. The guy said for me or my travel agent to call Disney World Travel, and have them contact the Disney Visa people to verify my ability for the special package.
I then called the WDW travel number, the toll free 877 number, and told them I had just received my new Disney Visa and wanted to book the special 7 nights for the price of 4 package. The lady asked me for my discount code number and I told her that I had just spoke to the Disney Visa people, that they had told me I was able to receive the package, and that they had told me to tell Disney Travel to call them to verify my ability. She asked for my name, then for my zip code. Then she asked me to verify my address. Then she asked me for me Disny Visa account number. She put me on hold for several minutes, and then came back and told me I was able to book the Special package!!!!:!: :!: :) :D If it helps I heard the travel ladey mumble something about code ZXRA under her breath. So I am looking at 7 nights Dreammaker Package at either the AKL Concierge with a Savannah View or the Yacht Club Standard Concierge for just under $2700.

Good for you! We've had our Visa for almost a year now and all we charter card members got was a free pin! :devil I called and I can't get the package! It is a really great deal though, I'm happy for you! I wonder if I called with that code if it would work. :hmmm Heck, it's worth a try! Do you know if there were dates for travel using your package?

My husband had an extensive conversation with banc one.
When taking to CM on Tuesday ( regarding our upcomig trip in April) She asked him if he had a Disney Visa. "Yes" he replied. She then told him about the 4 for 7 deal. He asked me that night if we wanted to go.. Of course I said "yes" Any how to make a long story short, when he called back The CM ( different CM) that he was not elegible because it is only for people through Banc one. So he called Banc One and asked about it. They said that it was a special offer for people applying in March. So he called back Disney complained that a CM offered him something that was not availble, and they basically did nothing. So any way I guess if a CM makes you an offer, you should just book it! Don't bother to ask your wife who would of course say yes! Karen :D :D |

I also called requesting the 7 for 4 deal. Since I applied in March I am eligible and I could even apply it to my existing reservations of 8 nights! Yay! or so I thought... You have to BEGIN your stay after May 1st! We will already be there for a few days at that point and they cannot use it for stays before that date. As it works out, we will be staying four days after the begining of the "deal" anyway so no free days here!
Stinks..... BUT who cares? I'm goin' to Disney! ~Zoey

I really wish that Banc One would just put the offer out there and clarify who is eligible. We received our card a few weeks ago and would have used this 4 for 7 if we would have known. We have already bought the plane tickets so no use in trying to change now. We are supposed to get $15 disney dollars after our first purchase, but I picked up another application at our local disney store last week and you can now get $25 disney dollars! We will probably cancel this card after our trip so that we will qualify for future offers for "new" cardmembers.
Bigjon010, congrats on getting the package. |

Yesterday I called to move our reservations back a week and I was talking to the CM about me WANTING that Fairytale package 7 nights for the price of 4 and that's why I got the Disney Visa orignially. But now I don't qualify for the current offer since I've had my card too long. He said to hang in there. That he couldn't make any promises but Disney Visa should be making an offer to all cardmembers for the Fairytale package this year.
So there is still hope. Last year it was offered starting May 7th for June through October. So I hope that will be the case again.

visa 7 for 4 offer
Okay, I called Disney and they said it was only for people who received a direct mail offer. Then I called bank one and they said it was only for new card holders, not us oldsters. How fair is that? Anyway, what I did was apply for a new card in my DH's name, as our original account was in my name. THe lady said when we get our new card we should call disney back and ask for the "marque" or markey offer and they would be able to double check with visa that we qualify. so now I am waiting for the new card to arrive so we can try it. Meanwhile, I hope some new discounts come out soon. We did the fairytale package last year and saved a lot.

We booked a room at POR for 8 days and 7 nites, one free wish per person for $1638.00:!: We also will get $100 disney dollars at check in and two laynards with a pin . This price is for 2 adults and 2 kids and is less than I paid for all-stars 10 years ago:laugh :laugh YAHOO:) This also included unlimited pass for the 8 days.

We applied for our Disney Visa on 3/20 and are still impatiently waiting. We both have excellent credit records yet they are practically making us jump through hoops. If it weren't for this Buy 4 Get 7 deal I would tell Bank One what they could do with their Disney Visa. And the customer service representatives they staff are worthless.
