Hi,
I never stayed at the Boardwalk , but I have stayed across the lake at the Beach Club.
You picked a great location. Being so close to Epcot and MGM are a huge bonus. Plus being right on the Boardwalk should be fun too.

We stayed at the BW VIllas which is beside the BW INn. Great location. We loved it. My son who was 2 at the time loved the pool because it had elephants shooting water around the pool area. Also, the Boardwalk has a lot going on at night. Plus you can walk to EPCOT and MGM or take boats.

My parents stayed there one time (they usually stay at Yacht Club) - but my GF and I were down there at the same time (at another resort). We met up with them for dinner, played at Fantasia (a short walk) and then checked out the hotel, and had fun on the Boardwalk

Quite frankly, it's where I'd like to stay on my next trip down. My parents had a room with an awesome balcony view of a courtyard. Normally, I like the HAFH resorts - so I'd like to check out the villas there.

The micro-brewery was great, and having walking access to places like ESPN and Jelly Rolls is, in my humble opinion, very nice. Plus, I think the feeling of the Boardwalk is pretty cool - the best parts of say, Atlantic City, but without all of the scum.

We plan on staying at the Board Walk Villas next year. We stopped by the boardwalk to see what it was like then found ourselves at the DVC info area. The rest is history. The resort is beautiful and I love the proximity to EPCOT and MGM

We stayed at the Boardwalk Villas in Feb and like everyone says it's great to stay in this area - You can do something without having to take a bus or boat.

And the bakery is really close

Golly! I am glad to read all these positive notes about BW. On my trip next month, I will be staying in a one bedroom at the BW Villas (DVC). I have never stayed there before, although I have been to "The Boardwalk" many times. I love to walk around the whole area (although I did notice that the seagulls were quite rambunctious on my last visit.)
