Air-fare War: JetBlue vs. Song

I posted this information last night on another thread, but it quickly disappeared from the front page and it's worth repeating.

JetBlue and Song just dropped their one-way ticket prices from BOS to MCO (Logan to Orlando International)

JetBlue is $59 and Song is $67 (which is roughly the same because of differing airport fees).

JetBlue credited my TrueBlue account $80 because I already made reservations.

WOO HOO!!! :)

Matt-

Thanks for the info!!! Did Jet Blue credit you automatically, or did you have to call?

We are flying JetBlue also (also out of Boston;) ) in May.

Just booked our ressies the other night. I couldn't log into my account this morning (forgot my password...nerves from this news!!!:laugh :laugh ) So I was just wondering!!!

Thanks again!!!

Lauren

I had to call. The credit expires July 2005.

So I guess I'll be forced to plan another vacation.

We're flying back on Song and basically the same thing happened. I think Song's "cheap seats" sell out faster (maybe there are fewer of them?).

We could have done a little better pricewise with JetBlue round-trip, but we wouldn't have gotten the right flight times.

JetBlue seems to be generally cheaper for early flights out of Boston, but then Song has the only flights (2) back to Boston after 6pm.
