Advance Internship
My oldest daughter has done the first internship and wants to go back and do the advance internship after graduation (about year & half). Has anyone done the advance internship and what were your experiences? She plans on staying with Disney, and will continue her career in Orlando, we currently live in Philadelphia,Pa.
What expectations did you have? Where do you live? How is the 2 programs different? Thanks for any info. Joe |

Re: Advance Internship
Go to the WDWCP website and click on Students. There is a small list to the right where you can scroll down and find out more information about the advanved interships. I've been looking into that myself... Best of luck to you and your information gathering!

I kind of have the same expectations when I go back after graduation, though I have to go about it a different way (long story). Anyways, Here's what I can tell you about the advanced internships- the main difference is the pay. AIs averagely get 8-13 bucks an hour. (13 is for biology- I know cause my friend is super excited about that!) And the place where you live has moved too. Before, they used to try to cram them all into the same area in chatam. Not so much anymore. They now live out by Millenium Mall- which is out past Universal- and it's $120 a week. (or at least that's the rumor- that's what my boss said to me.) These apartments are also nicer- they have *EVERYTHING* included- I hear there's even a bowling alley at the complex. But it's not all Disney people- Disney only owns part of the buildings. There's no transportation provided- but they state when you apply for AIs that you know you need your own transportation. Anyways, that's all I can give you- if you have more questions let me know- I'll try to answer them!!
