Sorry to keep you all waiting! No news...I actually can't transfer my status yet (ie: go from CP to Fulltime) so, I can't even really "apply." It's ok though, I can transfer status as of January 1st. My program ends the 5th, so I'm just going to finish out the program, go home for the weekend, then come back and deal with it. But I promise better updates this time!!

oh thats too bad you can't transfer. Where do you live? (Just for going home for the weekend and then re-applying sounds like you're close, which would be nice)
I'm sure you'll get in a 2nd time, from your other posts sounds like you are the perfect happy-go-lucky CM

HI everyone!! Just a quick update on my transfer situation. Well, as of last tuesday (January 10th- the day of the bank robbery in Kissimmee- which was all of 6 miles from my house, but a sheer mess b/c my boyfriend had to leave an hour before work due to crazy traffic), I went to casting to put in for my official transfer. One snag in the situation, I was out of a job (no longer a CP) and the casting people were like, "this might take a month." A month with no money? I don't think so!

So a few quick emails between myself, one of my managers, and my scheduler- we had it all worked out. I'm working at Pop classified as "seasonal" until my transfer paperwork comes through. "Seasonal" status isn't wonderful (they don't have to schedule me fourty hours), but I need some money. I'm only working 5 days next week, where most of my fellow cast members are on 6 days.

As for the transfer situation, I was called back the same day! (Unfortunately I wasn't home at the time!) I put in for a transfer to "full-time status" in Lobby Concierge. I was allowed to put 5 locations that I would like to transfer my status to and my first choice was DAK Lodge. A couple of reasons behind this: A) I worked there for 3 days while I worked with Industrial Engineering- I fell in love with the place! It's beautiful! and B) it's the closest resort to my house.

Thing is, they can put me in any location they so well choose based on who has openings. But considering I heard there is about 80 openings property wide for Lobby Concierge, I think I have a good chance. My interview is this upcoming Monday (January 23rd) and I'm very nervous!! Hopefully all will go well. New update then!
