I my name is Valerie, and I really want to do the Disney college progam. I am student majoring in hopitality and tourism. I have been married for almost four years.
Does anyone know if it is a requirement to live on property for the college program. Would I be able to live off property with my husband? |

Re: Can you be married and be in the college program?
First of all, welcome to DisneyCentral!
I think we have a DC member who is married and a CPer right now but she lives in Disney housing so I can't help you there. Here DC name is gingita, I hope she finds this thread and answers your questions.

Re: Can you be married and be in the college program?
Welcome to Disney Central!!!
You can be married, but as for housing I'm not sure for the college program. I am doing the international program (I'm Canadian) and I know for us, if we were to live off property we have to pay for our Disney-apartment as well as the off-property one. It may very well be different for the college program though, I would call up the Disney rep in your area and ask. But the International program is - for the most part - the same as the US College Program, if you have any questions feel totally free to private message or email me ![]()

Re: Can you be married and be in the college program?
Yes, you can be married and do the College Program. However, if you want to live in the Disney housing, your spouse must also be enrolled in the college program. If not, you will have to find another housing alternative off-site. You are not required to live in the housing provided as far as I know for the regular program.
Hope this helps! ![]()

If you and your husband come down to the Program, you can live together, but you have to have proof of your marriage (aka- marriage certificate) in order to do so! My friend was down here with his wife and no one had told him that before hand- they lived in seperate housing until his parents sent down the certificate!

Re: Can you be married and be in the college program?
I think my husband and I may have to do the same thing. He knows how important it is to me to do this, so we my have to be seperated if I got into the college program. Then who knows?
