Oh, and PrincessPooh, on a teeny tiny note, those guys working at the Rose & Crown were on the Cultural Representative (year long) program.

If you work on the ICP, you're not eligible to work at your country's World Showcase pavilion

Now if only I could persuade the government to petition for an Ireland pavilion...

BTW, my dear wife and i were lucky enough to spend our honeymoon in your lovely country 4 years ago. and our favorite stop was the cork area! we stayed in Tower, ate 3 straight nights at Blair's inn, and spent WAAAAAAY too much money in/around the english market (we had a BUNCH of food shipped home to the states) and thank god Dunn's is on that side of the pond, as my wife would have me in the poor house right about now if not!!!

As everyone else has said, Congrats. I am a College Program Alumni (spring 1997) and can give plenty advice if you need. just give me a yell.

But, to be honest, I don't have much choice at the moment. I don't want to defer my 2nd year of college... and there's no other program available to me anyway if I did!

Still, I suppose it'll provide just enough Disneyness to satisfy the cravings while still leaving some magic there for me to return to in the future on holidays :D

Four months was enough for me! Even though it took me two years to stop wanting to go back, it really was just enough Disneyness for me. And its still magical for return trips!

Well, today was my Visa interview (full details at http://summerwiththemouse.blogspot.com/) and I'm happy to say that I've been granted a visa and so, am officially allowed to apply for entrance to the US when I fly over!

Congratulations, you lucky devil you!

I am envious because of two things:
1. You are from Ireland (I am 200 percent Irish). we are in the planning stages of taking a trip to Ireland in 2008. Hopefully, we can find some relatives. My family's roots are in Limerick (father's side) and in (gulp) Belfast (mother's side)...

and.. 2. YOU ARE A FUTURE CAST MEMBER! (That's the only thing I think I would like to do as much as visit Ireland...

Well...your end date is the last day you'll be there... so you'll have to let us know where you end up so we can stop in and say "top of the morning to you."
