Length of internship
I was wondering..since I am going back to school next fall...
 ..What is the shortest amount of time you can do the college program?I never knew about it while I was in college for Degree #1 but I would love to do it do it during Degree #2 if I could. I don't think I could go away for entire semester (I'd miss the Dave too much  ) But is there a summer program or something?

Yea, the only shortest intern is during the summer for alumni CP only!

If you and your husband are both college students you can do the cp together. He would only have to be enrolled in 1 college class to qualify to do the CP. A guy I worked with was married and him and his wife lived together in Chatham. He worked at OKW and his wife at MGM. I think doing it together would be wonderful.
My husband had already graduated so I did the cp on my own, being seperated for an entire semester was really tough, but worth it in so many ways because I feel like it helped get my foot in the door for a disney career after graduation. Good Luck!

You can do either a spring, spring advantage, fall, or fall advantage internship. The spring and fall last only 4 months, while the advantages will give you the summer months for 7 months total. I did the fall advantage. Loved every second of it.

i would so love to do the internship. that would be a dream come true. i don't know how we would handle being separated for 4 months. believe you me, everytime i see those flyers at school, i immediately want to apply!

Four months separation would be tough, but being at WDW would make it a whole lot easier. Being in the USAF, and having missed 6 of the first 15 months of my oldest DD's life due to two separate "trips" away from home, it is very doable. I wish I had known about (and my college would have allowed) the Disney CP when I was younger. I am SO JEALOUS of those who get to do this and live the magic everyday. While I can imagine seeing some of the behind the scenes stuff might 'dull the shine' a bit for some, I have to think it would still be an incredible opportunity.
On a totally different subject, I saw on another website where they had templates for 'Thank You' cards that guests can give CM's. I thought this was a TERRIFIC idea!!! Has anyone done this? Prezcatz Paul
