thanks everyone screw them is pretty much how I feel. I feel VERY mistreated and unfair and mad and RUDE and and and....
Anyway, no use in dwelling on it.
My mom suggested making a list of 5 goals to work towards/try for so if one falls out like this did I won't be as upset as I am now. So I'm just trying to think of something else I want to do besides the WDW international program again

Thats the right attitude to have. I'd be feeling the same as you if I was in your shoes, but by not dwelling on it and starting to think of other options, as you are, will start to make you feel less upset soon, I'm sure of it.

What I don't understand is why was your reply from the UK? Didn't you interview with the Canadian company?

If it makes you feel any better, Emily's barely making enough to keep body and soul together - I keep having to send her money - and she hates her new roommate.

Yeah, Cast-a-way is no more. They're not doing the International Program recruiting anymore. It's Yummy Jobs now, they have been doing recruiting for the UK for years and now they will be with Canada as well. They're opening up an office in Michigan right by the border. I strongly think this has something to do with my rejection since in the UK Yummy Jobs doesn't allow people to do the program twice. Just unfair since I was on the waitlist and some people who applied and are alumni who already got dates still get to go.

Is Emily still on podium?! Get that girl to learn her menu and get into service, then she'll be rolllllllling in dough! She'll be sending YOU money

I guess she was lucky to get in with Castaway. No offence to the UK, but it's ridiculous for them to recruiting for the Canada Pavillion. If there was a waitlist, then they should be honouring it. Emily's been moving around - hostess, greeter, popcorn - I don't know if they've changed this rule, but now you have to be there 2 months before you can learn the menu and 3 months before you get into serving - believe me - she'll be the first one up to do it! She's desperate to start serving! Still seems unfair to me that the servers earn so much and there's no tip-out.
