DDD staying three more months.
it is official my DD called today she got her extension!!!!!!!!!she is staying three more months until august. Im so happy for her., but a little sad for us.

Congratulations to your DD! I know that day will come all too quickly for us too. I know that's what you want them to do, but it doesn't make it any easier. You'll just have to plan an extra Disney trip!!!

Congrats!! I know you will miss her, but she must be having a great time to want an extension. And just think of all the life lessons she is getting!

I dread the day when my DD leaves the nest to go on her own. Hey, look at the bright side, it just give you an excuse to book another trip to WDW...gotta go see DD!!

Im thrilled for her this is been great .. she has changed but for the best she is more her old self ... high school was difficult for her she never quite fit in.. then college was off and on mainly becasue of a certain person I do not feel had her best interest more so then his.. she sounds somehow lighter and i think she has found her niche in life.. the one where she can shine.. she is a great person and deserves so much more then she will have if she comes back here. Im very proud she has done this she has always been very much a home body never did the camping over night thing. best of all i think being away from the boyfriend has been good for her.
just spoke with her she is working 6 pm to 4 am then back in at 11:00am

Congratulations to your DD. It really sounds like this has been wonderful for her and maybe something she can build on for a career.
I bet you are so excited, only 40 or so more days until you get to see her.

That is so great for her to find her niche! I wish my parents knew about this for me. I'm glad for everyone in your family it didn't turn out any other way. There is no better place for her to stay longer to grow into who SHE is! I dread but also can't wait until DS and then eeeeekkkkk! DD can go...
I'll keep you in my prayers, I can only imagine how hard it is to let them grow into adults.

I am happy that she got the extension. She obviously is having the time of her lives. What a way to end the summer!!! sorry for you all who are missing her. She'll be home soon enough.
