I am glad that you found an apartment... just think you are only 20 minutes from Disney... i am 8 hours (i am not lucky enough to have a job there though)...
Congratulations and good luck. Tell Cinderella that I will be happy to stay in her castle if she should decide to go on any vacations... I am a great house sitter!

I had to arrive at Pleasure Island at the Adventurer's club at 9:00am. There were a lot of interns checking in. I was pretty nervous. I arrived early about 8:45, waited in line, checked in under my last name. I was handed a folder with some paperwork in it. The person checking me in said "everything looks good, you're done for the day!" I was like "what, I don't have to do anything else???" Because I'm already a cast member I didn't have to fill
out paperwork, or do a background because they already had all of that. I was done checking in by 9:20am!!! So, I meet back up with my dh who was drinking coffee at DTD McDonald's. We didn't have any other plans for the day so went to Magic Kingdom. We had a fabulous day!! A great way to enjoy the first day of summer. My next day at work isn't until Tuesday where I have my MK orientation.

Everything here is going really well. I enjoyed my first day at Magic Kingdom. Infact the whole day felt kind of surreal. I still can't believe that I'm being paid to be there. We entered MK around 7:30am. There were still cleaning crews and maintence doing stuff to make everything look great. It was cool to see Main Street without people on it. Later we rode Buzz Lightyear and Haunted Mansion. Backstage is not very impressive, but interesting. Today was the first day of Guest Relations class. Disney is very thorough in their trainning which is a good thing.
Tomorrow I have another full day of class. Friday night I'm working Extra Magic Hours Wristbands. I'm off over the weekend. Monday morning. I'll be at the tip board on Main Street. I'm looking forward to that. This is the first job I've had where I can't wait to go into work.
