Port Orleans French Quarter is a "Moderate" WDW resort

Atmosphere: Celebrate Mardi Gras every day at this New Orleans themed resort located on the "Sassagoula River".

Rooms: This is one of WDW's smaller resorts with approximately 1000 rooms. Some offer King Size, 2 double beds and handicapped accessible. There are also smoking and non-smoking rooms. Approximate room size is 315 square feet.

Restaurants: This is the only Moderate Resort that does not have a sit down restaurant. The Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory food court (refillable mugs are available here) and the Scat Cat's lounge are located near the main lobby. Next door at the Port Orleans Riverside you will find Boatwrights, a sit down restaurant just a short boat ride away.

Pools: There is one large pool (Dabloon Lagoon) perfect for children with a great dragon water slide and alligators shoot water from the side of the pool. A Jacuzzi is also offered for adults.

Recreation: Many activies are provided here at Port Orleans French Quarter. They offer Carriage Rides (for a fee), Bike and boat rentals (for a fee) fishing (small fee) and an arcade located off the lobby.

Transportation: Bus service to all WDW theme parks (MK, Epcot, MGM, AK, BB, TL DTD and PI) aproximately every 15-20 minutes. Plus they have a boat launch that goes to POR and DTD.

Shopping: Jackson Square store is located in the lobby and carries WDW merchandise as well as postcards, stamps, film, OTC medication, wine, beer, snacks etc.
