Q: Where is Disney's Pop Century Resort?
A: Disney's Pop Century Resort is located directly adjacent to Disney's Carribean Beach Resort, and is across from Disney's Wide World of Sprots. Q: What is the theme of Disney's Pop Century Resort? A: Disney's Pop Century Resort was designed after its predecessors, the All Star's, and is filled with larger than life icons and flambouyant colors. Each building is a year, from the '50s to the '90s. The '50's building has a rock and roll theme. The '60's building is themed with tie-die and psychadelic colors. The '70's is themed with a giant big wheel and a giant classical Mickey Mouse phone. The '80's building has a giant Rubik's cube, and the '90's building has a computer and technology theme. Q: What is the closest theme park to PC? A: The closest theme park to PC is MGM, and is about a 5 minute bus ride. Q: What transportation is available to PC Resort guests? The gift shop at PC is HUGE and is around 4,000 square feet. Q: Is PC fully open? A: No, the idea for PC was begun before 9/11, and the project was halted with the drop in tourism. Disney restarted the project, but only halfway. The 1st half which is called, The Classic Years, opened on December 14th, 2003. There has been no word on construction of the second half, which is called The Legendary Years, and still no word on an opening date. Q: Can you describe the rooms? The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and a toilet, with the vanity area in the main part of the room. Q: What recreation is available onsite? A: There are three pools, a seperate kiddie pool, a jet pool, a playground, and an arcade. Q: What kind of food do they have at the Everything Pop food court?
