A: The theme is that of the Caribbean islands, pastels and bright colors are plentiful on the architecture and in the interior design of the rooms. The landscapes are lush with palm trees, and much greenery. All the buildings are two story with no elevators (ask for a ground floor room if stairs are a problem). The buildings are separated into 6 different villages (with different colored theming on the exteriors for each village). The villages are Martinique, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Aruba, Jamaica and Barbados. All of the villages surround a 42 acre lake, called Barefoot Bay. In the middle of the lake is Parrot Cay island which is connected to the mainland by two bridges. Each village has its own beach and its own pool.

The vanity area has a large privacy curtain that separates it from the main bedroom area. The vanity has two sinks, and the bathroom is smallish with a tub/shower combination and a toilet. Refrigerators, coffee makers, and in-room wall safes are in each guest room. Hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, and portable cribs are available upon request (there may be an extra charge).
