Contemporary layout ?

I was wondering if it is easier to get your morning coffee from the food & fun center or the coffee shop in the lobby? (we'll be in one of the "wings")
.......
I imagine you can use the refillable mugs at the Lobbys coffee shop also??

Thanks in advance!!!Obsessive planners neeed to know!!!!!

I don't have your answer, but you post gave me my first smile for the day. I too, worry or plan for these little kinds of things. It made me happy that I wasn't the only "obsessive planner".

Re: Contemporary layout ?

What coffee shop in the lobby??
If you mean all the way upstairs? Heck No!
We got the refillable cups for the week, and each morning would hop on over to the Fun N Games center for refill (and occasionally at night, too!)
In order to get to the wings, you have to pass through glass doors right by the Fun & Games center. "The Lobby" is still a walk away.
By the way, the hallways in the wings are long. My family came to visit and got hopelessly lost wandering about the long hallways.
I found it easier just to pop out by the door closest to the windows and make my way to coffee by walking past the pool, etc...

Re: Contemporary layout ?

If you mean the juice bar near the check in desk, it's really a toss up. It isn't more than a thrity second walk to get from there to the food court. I don't know how the lines are in the morning at either place, so I don't know if that will be a consideration, but distance wise it makes no difference. If you're staying in the NORTH wing, the entrance/exit at the end of the food court area can be used to get there without having to go through the doors in the center of the lobby (either the out front main entrance ones, or the out back pool-ish ones) -- it makes a great shortcut to the place.

Re: Contemporary layout ?

Depends on where-ya-at in the wings, you may be able to ask for a coffee pot in your room.

Re: Contemporary layout ?

Spike,
Great find. Guess what? I was next door by 2 (across from the vending machines). I happen to like walking, so this didn't really feel like much for me.
But it was a hike for coffee.Still. I walked to MK a few times from there, so going down for coffee or snacks was not a biggie.
