Re: pal mickey

wow 3 weeks! I would love to be there for 3 weeks! My DH would probably be ready to leave me! ha! I'm thinking of purchasing pal for my feb trip. Can I pre-order and have it waiting as a surprise in our room upon arrival? Isn't there a website that specializes in that kind of magic?

Re: pal mickey

If you're trying to get things in the room before your arrival, you may want to try the main 407#. If they can get you Xmas trees and floral arrangements in the room prior to arrival, I'm sure they can get a Pal Mickey (mine is in the spare bedroom right now just hanging out at home).

When I went on the Backstage Magic tour -- which is an incredible 7 hour tour -- we toured the floral department where they make arrangements for restaurants, resort lobbies, special events, and room deliveries (most of which are ordered prior to guest arrival for delivery).

Re: pal mickey

I am interested in renting My Pal Mickey but I have no children so I have no stroller or anything to store him in. Does he attach to a fanny pack for when we go on rides or is he just like a regular plush Mickey? Any info appreciated. Thanks!

Pal Mickey does have a little clip. We hung him from our backpack and didn't have any trouble. Enjoy!!

Re: pal mickey

Pal Mickey is awsome. He gives you so much info. After we got checked in, on Saturday, early evening. We went to MGM. Right after we walked in he vibrated and cuckeled. I squeezed his tummy and he said "Hey Pal, I hear that the line is really short over at the Rockin Roller Coaster, want to go and see?" We walked over and basially walked rignt onto the RRC! And in Animal Kingdom, he tells you so much about the animals. And tons of tidbits of info in MK. And in Epcot he goes on about all the different coutries and many different things in Future World.

After you ride rides he usually has a comment about the ride. RRC was something about him asking me to please check his ears for bugs. When getting on Space Mountain, he asked me to pin his ears to his head, so he wouldn't lose them. When you get on a wet ride, he tells you to please put him away, because he isn't waterproof.

Very Cool.

Re: pal mickey

PalMickey is $50 to purchase (including tax), or about $8 per day to rent. You can purchase them at just about any store in Disney, including the souvenir stores at any resort. I suggest renting one for a day, and see if you like it. If you decide to keep it, then you only pay $42 to purchase it, since they apply any rental amount to the purchase. Return the unit to the store where you rented it, tell them you want to buy one, and request a new one of the shelf. The one we rented was a bit warn.

Re: pal mickey

I think the price of Pal Mickey went up, I heard he is now $60. Still worth it but I am glad I already have one.

Ooops, yep, $60, sorry. Wasn't thinking there for a moment. When released, it was $50, but it increased to $60 sometime last year.
